About Me

Calgary, Born and Raised

Hello, Calgary!

My name is Zac Hartley and I have lived in this beautiful city my entire life. I grew up in South Calgary playing football and basketball at Bishop Grandin Highschool. After graduation I enrolled at Mount Royal University where I studied Business Management and obtained my degree.

In 2016 I started my first business building handmade furniture from wine and whiskey barrels. Over the course of 4 years we built the business to over 1 Million dollars in annual revenue and successfully pitched on Season 13 of Dragons Den.

Since the pandemic hit I have seen first hand the stress, fear and uncertainty in the eyes of people and business owners throughout the city. I am running for Mayor to help give those citizens peace of mind knowing that somebody is fighting for them within City Hall.

I will donate 50% of my Mayor Salary to Local Calgary Charities and work to reduce city expenses so that Calgary tax payers are not left holding the bill.
